The start of world war 2 interrupted the MotoGP and due to a shortage in fuel took time to commence when fuel became available.
Over the years massive improvements have took place to include one of the fastest tracks and even more breath taking facilities. Since the start in 1949 having 4 solo classes and being the oldest in all motorsports, it has been held in various countries.
Located 90 miles north of London, 60 mins south of Birmingham, either M40 or M1 it is then signposted on the A43 dual carriageway.
